Annette Peewee 13U Select wins the EBA Championship in a game that was played over two days!

Annette Rookieball 13U Selects joined the ranks of our 11U and 9U champions by capturing the the 2021 13U Select Etobicoke Baseball Assoication (EBA) champtionship.

After losing a close game to the Royal York Cardinals Girls 9-7 in the afternoon on Sunday, August 29, the teams were set to play again in a winner take all championship game that same evening. With thunderstorms coming into the area, the game had to be suspended at Christie Pitts with a score of 5-4 A’s in the Bottom of the 5th.

The game was scheduled to resume at Millword Park on the evening of Sunday, September 1 and our A’s were up to the challenge of building on their lead. In the remaining two innings our A’s added 3 runs and shutdown the Cardinals for an 8-4 victory.
